New Employee Orientation
This tool provides a standardized template that includes the most important information categories to cover with new hires before they begin performing their new job.
Your KEi Employee Retention Specialist will work with you to customize the content within each information category so that it matches the specifics of your company culture and work environment.
Human Resources staff must be instructed to appropriately:
- Obtain and, as needed, update the content for the work environment and job opportunity information categories
- Integrate this interactive, Internet based aspect of orientation with any additional local requirements for new hires
- Provide the optimal amount of person-to-person interaction with each new employee during the interactive/Internet portion of the orientation

Work environment…this feature provides you with a template for entering company profile information, allowing new employees to fully understand each of the following components of your company culture and work environment: Mission and Vision Statements, Business Values, Primary Customer focus, Products & Services, Decision-Making Processes, Feedback Processes, Basic Business Strategies, and Benefits Package.
Job opportunity…this feature provides you with a template for entering job specific information, allowing each new employee to fully understand the following as it relates to their specific job: Top Priority Skills to be emphasized, Responsibilities to directly support the business purpose, Cost Reduction Duties, Team Memberships and Team Goals, and a Skills Development Plan for the position.
24X7 online secured access…this feature allows the new employee to access a password secure site that contains both the company work environment content and their specific job related content any time they wish following the initial orientation. It also provides the means for them to email general questions to the tool administrator.
